We stayed at Wailea Beach Resort for a five-day family vacation and had a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful and offers a wide range of amenities. The pools, activities, classes, game areas, and even the movie theater kept both us and our kids entertained throughout the stay.
I really enjoyed my stay here; the property itself is absolutely beautiful and perfectly positioned right by the water. I spent a lot of time by the pools, which were well-maintained and offered a great place to relax, and the views from the resort are honestly hard to beat.
Beautiful hotel with amazing views all around. Though it doesn’t have its own beach right in front of the hotel there are two amazing beaches some of the best on Maui to the north and south of the hotel. It has fantastic amenities and it so close to the shops. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful.
Had the best time at WBR! Service: the team checked in prior to our arrival and offered to arrange activities or upgrades for us. They were also super helpful when I had concerns about storms during our time there.
Getting married at Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
