Well worth the money. Beautiful rooms, beautiful views. Full kitchen, king rooms have jacuzzis, community swimming pool and hot tub, every room has a fireplace. Community fire pit. Lots of walking trails. Everything you need to have a relaxing vacation.
We had a fabulous time. The views are beautiful. You can go for a long hike along the shire right outside of the resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Gave us great directions and descriptions of hikes we could go on. The pool is nice and the indoor outdoor hot tub is awesome!
Had a couple of rooms for a small family weekend and we enjoyed our stay entirely. Checking in at the main resort and the bit of back and forth was a bit strange but other than that we had a lovely time overlooking the lake, reading, playing cards and boardgames as well as exploring the property.
This place was amazing. We had a lake view, it was breathtaking to wake up and see every day. The rooms were cozy and clean. Nice quiet building. The indoor/outdoor jacuzzi was an extra bonus nobody expected. I 100% recommended this place. Especially for a couples romantic get away.
Getting married at Superior Shores Burlington Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
