We booked our wedding for April 2026 at Superior Shores & it will always be the perfect memory. It was a fairytale setting & the best possible venue to host all our family & friends.
Just Spectacular!! 💫 Beautiful (the suite) rooms, whirlpool and fireplace in the room, full kitchen, gorgeous view of Lake Superior and a balcony. Fell in love when we walked in! The lobby is so welcoming, adorable and cozy and they have a hot cocoa and apple Cider bar with freshly made popcorn ! It’s so quaint!
We stayed at the Lake Homes next door but leveraged a handful of amenities at the resort. Friendly staff, great food at the restaurant, rock painting for kids and bon fires on the beach with included smore kits were awesome!
Getting married at Superior Shores Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
