I've been coming here for 20 years. I really like the location. Not too many places where you can be 50 feet from the water and walk out to the lake. Even from the unit there are spectacular views. Has kitchen and dining area which is nice if you don't want to go out for every meal.
Overall, this was a nice place to stay on our recent family trip. We booked the Lake home that had 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, Loft with Queen bed, Bedroom with two twin beds. With 8 adults and one child, this was the perfect size for our family trip.
I would give this place at least two more stars if I could. The staff was super friendly and the lake home we stayed at (#71) was absolutely beautiful inside and out as well as fully equipped. The views were amazing. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and would recommend it to anyone.
Great stay! Studio lake home had everything we needed to cook, grill and entertain. Great deck with semi lake view and very private unit 57B. Staff was great!
Getting married at The Lakehomes at Superior Shores
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
