Spacious location with a great staff. As with most SF venues parking will be your greatest challenge. Very conveniently located next to the Bay Bridge... If your trying to get back to the East Bay quickly.
Very fun and upbeat venue! While there is some art on the walls I would definitely categorize this as a venue more than a gallery! I was a guest of an event catered to about 200 people and there was really no focus on the art that was there. But it was a great space to have an event!
What a lovely space for a wedding and reception!! Love the addition of art being on the walls since it seems to also act as an art gallery. A wonderful view out of the windows when we were doing cocktails. And plenty of restroom space for the guests.
Loved it here. Shot a wedding inside not too long ago and it was the perfect space. They flipped the ceremony space into the reception area during cocktail hour which was still in the same building. It was a pretty big wedding with lots of tables but there was still enough space for a dancefloor in the middle.
Getting married at Terra Gallery & Event Venue
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
