What a pleasant surprise...... Terrace Bay Hotel was above and beyond what I expected. We were in room 209 which was a King Suite in the Main building. Right close to Bimbo Coffee and close to the Venue Room where the wedding was at and close to the Bar/Restaurant. Highly recommend this location.
Absolutely love this place! The lake rooms have a really good view of the bay. I have to say the staff and service is phenomenal. We had a screen door that had separated off the bottom track due to a wheel issue. It couldn't be popped back on without fixing the wheel.
The property had an amazing view! It was quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were bright and airy. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking Little Bay De Noc. We were able to leave the slider door open and enjoy the cool breezes.
Was the best place I've ever stayed at. The greatest staff Ever. Lisa is a rock star. The desk staff were super helpful and fun the bigsby coffee people were absolutely awesome.the cleaning staff were on top of everything. The ball room for our event was off the hook .
Getting married at Terrace Bay Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
