The Beach Club is a fantastic way to spend your afternoon. Our server Luna, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I've been coming to Gurneys for many years and service has been mixed but today was great and I'm looking forward to visiting again next season. Happy Labor Day!
Great beach at Gurneys. Went there a lot over my stay. Had a Cabana, which was set up really nice. Service was good, but the servers didn't come by that often. The servers probably came once every two hours, but you can go up to the bar and ask for things if you need something (drinks, food, sunscreen, etc.).
Gorgeous setting. Beach was empty. Mostly private homes. Rooms. Simple , clean comfortable. On the expensive side. But well worth it..Food also excellent but pricey. Had problem with my land line phone. Management fixed it. Immediately. And compensated me very fairly for the inconvenience. Very quiet and relaxing 😌 .
What else can you ask for at the Hamptons. Gurneys offers a beautiful setting with patio, fire places, and bars throughout the resort. The service provided at the front door at the rooms was top notch and everywhere was well maintained. Keep up the good hospitality!
Getting married at The Beach Club at Gurney's Montauk
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
