I have been coming to the Wavecrest Resort since my parents brought me there as a kid (dating back to the early 90s). Now I’m enjoying bringing my children there. Clean rooms, great location on the beach, indoor pool, and the on sites food truck is money good.
Overall great experience. We love staying here whenever we come to Montauk. The room size is great and spacious with perfect access to the beach. One thing I would like to recommend is offering a guest pass for family that is just stopping by to visit. Even if it is for a small fee.
This was our second time here and would come back again. My kids loved it! The private area on the beach, the pool, and the view were perfect. Accessible to nearby areas to shop and get food. We will be back! Thank you wavecrest for such a wonderful time!
View was spectacular and the furniture set up was perfect! Beach service and pool were amazing too! Room was missing a few items. Like a light in the kitchen, a sharp knife and basic paper towels, Hope to be back next year!
Getting married at Wavecrest Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
