From the reviews
The Deck is easily one of the best spots in Muskegon. Being right on the beach at Pere Marquette makes for an unbeatable atmosphere. I’m a huge fan of their deck nachos with pulled chicken—that sauce is honestly incredible.
Denny, our server was very attentive. If we needed something, he was right there waiting to help us at our every beck and call. Hospitality at its utmost. I highly recommend Denny! I was in the hospitality business for 30 years and in hospitality at my church. His personality shines, like a new penny.
Was a bit cold and windy, but we forgot about that once the food arrived. Everything was delicious, I had the pork barbecue and my wife had the brisket although we shared and both were great. The sweet potatoes waffle fries were outstanding.
Georgia was an awesome server and our food was phenomenal to say the least. The Meat +3 is the way to go! Mac n cheese was creamy, beach slaw was really good, and we couldn't have asked for a better and more fun atmosphere!
Getting married at The Deck
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
