From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was something special but our wedding day exceeded every expectation!! The venue was absolutely beautiful, and every detail created the perfect backdrop for one of the most important days of our lives.
I had a wonderful experience today, 4/14/26 at the Flower Fields. After on & off smatterings of rain yesterday, blue skies & Photo Shop-like clouds enlivened the skies today. Brilliant graduations of color were clearly visible, on a vast hillside of Ranuncula flowers, planted neatly in rows.
We visited the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch on Saturday with my husband and friends, and we had such a beautiful experience. We stayed for over 2 hours and walked about 2.5 miles enjoying everything the fields have to offer. The flower fields are absolutely stunning so colorful and well maintained.
Visiting the Carlsbad Flower Fields was absolutely breathtaking! The rows of vibrant ranunculus flowers seemed to stretch endlessly, creating a stunning rainbow of colors. It’s the perfect spot for photos, whether you’re going with family, friends, or just enjoying a peaceful solo walk.
Getting married at The Flower Fields
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
