We had such a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, with beautiful views that made it feel like a true getaway.
The rooms are very nice and clean and we had a patio that had a view of the water but the building ahead blocked us a bit. Very tranquil and great location to get to all the beaches. The staff very friendly and accommodating. We needed to unwind, and will return!!
Hotel offered a heated pool and jacuzzi and was setup for those not so sunny days.We had the double queen room with our family of four. Parking was easy as well. Restaurant walk super easy. We hit Doran beach 5 minutes away and that is easy access to ocean low waves for kids.
Wow, The Inn at the Tides is one of the nicest places I've experienced. The rooms are very nice and I love that they are in sub-divided bungalos. The immaculately groomed grounds are beautiful, full of flowering plants. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The restaurant across the street serves very fresh seafood.
Getting married at The Inn at the Tides
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
