From the reviews
Our daughter attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, so we’ve stayed here several times over the years and have never been disappointed. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because the rooms are a bit on the pricey side. The location is excellent — you can easily walk to many restaurants, shops, and attractions.
Amazing time spent here, I stayed for a week with a wounded warrior project event. The facility had everything requested. We were comfortable, had a great view of Lake Superior. Close to shops, food, and amazing adventures. I would overall recommend this place to anyone visiting.
We had a great time there during our visit to Bentleyville. Nice view of the lake, kids loved the pool (didn't make it to the outdoor pool), and they loved roasting marshmallows out back. We plan to stay again next year.
Getting married at The Inn on Lake Superior
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
