We got married at the Garden in December and we're so happy with our choice of venue! It was perfect for our size of wedding (we had ~240 guests), we decided to keep it simple decor-wise which was easy since they have string lights on the ceilings and brick walls.
My husband and I got married here on 9/22/2023 and we couldn't have imagined a better venue!! Everything was exactly as we'd pictured when we were planning! The pricing was very fair as well! The staff were incredible to work with; They were friendly, kind, and always ready to help out with anything we needed.
We had our wedding reception at The Garden a few months ago, and I can't say enough positive things about our experience. Elissa and Angela were great to work with and very accommodating. The food was excellent, and all of the staff helping out were wonderful. I would definitely recommend The Garden for a venue.
The Garden wedding and event center is stunning. An industrial styled space that has all the wonders of Duluth and Canal Park. The history of the wedding venue has the heart of Duluth in it all while providing an indescribable wedding experience.
Getting married at The Garden Canal Park
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
