What couples highlight
“The day before my wedding, Desiree told me, "I got you, it's going to be beautiful".”
“I say that the Living Room went above and beyond because we wanted BOTH our ceremony and reception in the same space, which was challenging to plan in a smaller space like the Nook.”
“They were responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making the event come together smoothly — even with a tight timeline.”
From the reviews
The Living Room made my wedding day even more special. Wedding planning was initially difficult because my now-husband and I wanted an indoor smaller wedding (30 guests) at a reasonable cost because we had a strict budget.
I recently celebrated my 50 and Fabulous birthday at the Living Room. The staff did a phenomenal job setting up for and executing my big day! Though it all went to fast I have such wonderful memories to cherish and I couldn't have done it without the staff at the Living Room!
My parents recently hosted an engagement party for my fiancé and I here at the Living Room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and really made my vision come to life. From the balloon arch and neon sign to the beautiful table settings Desiree and her staff really went above and beyond.
Due to timing and work commitments, we planned a short-fuse wedding with about three months to prepare. From the start, Deborah and Desiree were professional, confident, and immediately sold us on why The Living Room was the right choice for our reception.
Getting married at The Living Room
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
