My wife and I had our wedding here. And I can legitimately say from the planning, execution, food, and everything in between was perfect. And I mean that literally. I live in Vegas and I haven't had a steak as perfectly cooked and seasoned as I had at my dinner after the ceremony. And the breakfast...
The service at this place is fantastic. Everyone is very inviting and accommodating. Checking in I told them about a dietary restriction just hoping to know what was in each dish so I would know what to avoid. Instead they made me specially tweaked versions of the same dishes that I could eat.
The lost whale inn is incredible! The views, rooms, breakfasts, everything is great! My husband and I did a trip here with my parents and it was such a special trip because of this B&B. All the staff is super welcoming and accommodating. If you’re looking for a great place to stay this is it!
We got massages here, so we didn't stay in the rooms, but I can say the staff we interacted with was amazing and friendly. The inn is adorable and the views are stunning! We would definitely stay here if we come back to this area. Just beautiful
Getting married at The Lost Whale Inn Oceanfront B&B
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
