Choosing The Oakley as our wedding venue was, without question, one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were in LOVE!! We booked it on the spot! We had no idea just how extraordinary the experience would truly be.
I cannot recommend The Oakley enough. Angela and her team were accommodating to us in every step of the process. Our wedding day ended up being much colder and windier than we originally planned for. Angela and The Oakley team made sure our families and guests were comfortable throughout the entire wedding.

This Venue is so beautiful!! We got married there on 6/4 and it was one of the best days of my life! It was super spacious, and CLEAN! There was nothing out of place, and the team was very helpful. They responded quickly to any questions or concerns, and they were transparent in their communication.
Getting married at The Oakley on the Lake
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
