From the reviews
My wife and I cannot say enough good things about the Oaks. We had our wedding there in October (an amazing time of the year for it) and there was quite literally nothing we would change. The staff were unbelievable from the moment we booked our tour to when we said goodbye the morning after the wedding.
Our wedding at The Oaks Waterfront Inn was truly a dream come true!! From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were blown away by its charm, peaceful beauty, and stunning waterfront views.
We stayed at The Oaks for our wedding weekend, and everything was absolutely perfect. Our wedding itself was a dream, but the entire stay was just as special. The accommodations are beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, and every guest who stayed on property loved it so much.
A wonderful stay from start to finish. The Oaks Waterfront Hotel is a beautiful property enveloped in a serene, peaceful atmosphere. Beyond the stunning site, the staff is simply outstanding—their remarkable service is a direct reflection of the owners' exceptional leadership.
Getting married at The Oaks Waterfront Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
