Great venue had everything we needed to plan and host a surprise 70th birthday party. Rachelle is easy to work with and everything was set up exactly as we asked.
Final update: Working with Rachelle made everything so much better! We arrived and no one was there to open, but we called and a lady showed up with in 10 minutes. We were able to set up and had a beautiful baby shower! I am so thankful for the time and them for making up for the wedding issue!
Communication was easy. The expectations to get the deposit back were clear. If I ever need to host another event, I will definitely come back!!
Nice spot to celebrate an event. Has everything you need, space, nice bathrooms, Stove, warmer, refrigerators, freezer, cleaning supplies etc.
Getting married at The Place on Beal
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
