I wanted to give a huge shout out to the entire staff for helping with our wedding at The Point. Sofia was our coordinator who helped make sure our big day went off without any issues. She also had another person helping day of which was greatly appreciated.
We had our wedding reception at The Point last weekend and it was beautiful! We had a group of 90 with many who like to dance, and we felt like it was a perfect space for our group. Guests loved the proximity to the beach, open lawn spaces, and back patio for additional pictures.
We recently shot a wedding here and it was so perfect. The location is gorgeous and perfect for an intimate wedding.
The Point is the perfect "work hard, play hard" venue. Whatever kind of event you have in mind, The Point can take your vision from idea to reality! I have now been to The Point for several reasons: a wedding, an engagement party and multiple work related professional developments.
Getting married at The Point
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
