This is a beautiful property with friendly, accommodating staff. Their willingness to go above and beyond is very sincere, and always with a smile. The location is great, close to the charming downtown, and a few blocks to the beach. We stayed in the Pine Suite, with a balcony overlooking the street.
We had a wonderful experience at The Roost. Loved the accommodations, the tranquility and the attentiveness of the staff. They were always willing to assist with whatever was needed. A special mention for Sara. Very interesting to talk to and I feel she strives to make the guest experience as perfect as it can be.
We highly recommend The Roost for a stay in lovely Ocean Springs. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, most shops and restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and beautifully done. The pool area is amazing! The owners are friendly, responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Guys if for any reason you are passing through Ocean Springs MS PLEASE STOP HERE!! The hotel is gorgeous and beds are so comfy. Then go to the Bar and hit up Nici she made the best cocktails! I am so excited to plan a trip to come back just for this hotel and the service.
Getting married at The Roost Boutique Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
