I recently hosted a baby shower and girls day at the pool accompanied with a "babymoon" for the expecting couple. I was so pleased with the courtyard near the pool and the setting overlooking the bayou was lovely. It wasn't crowded and the personnel at the resort were all so friendly.
This was our second stay at Gulf Hills Resort in the incredible Love Me Tender suite. It's more than a suite. It's an entire wing of the resort. Three beautiful bedrooms plus a living room with a generous wet bar. Every room has a full bath.
My granddaughters and I stayed at the resort for our annual beach trip. The resort was nice and conveniently located close to everything we wanted to do on this trip — the beach, Ship Island excursion, the Mississippi Aquarium, Shrek the Musical at Beau Rivage, downtown Ocean Springs, etc. The price was great!
The best hidden gem on the coast! We love visiting Ocean Springs for day trips, now we have found the best place to stay for overnights. I’m so glad to have found this location. The resort itself is great, but add in the beautiful rooms and perfect atmosphere in the pool and bar and it’s the best combination!
Getting married at Gulf Hills Hotel & Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
