From the reviews
We stayed at the Royal Hawaiian for four nights, and we make it a point to stay here at least once a year whenever we come to Hawaii. We’re always so pleased with the overall experience, especially the beach service. A special thank you to Darrell and Puna — you truly made our stay even more memorable.
The price was exceeding our budget so we weren't able to stay, however we were able to visit the perimeter for shopping and sightseeing. Wonderful view, for the ones staying at the hotel you can reserve beach lounges with an umbrella for a full day, right on the beach.
🌺 The Royal Hawaiian was one of our favorite hotel stays ever, and I would highly recommend it! The hotel is just steps from the beach and has a small, quiet pool that was perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was incredible—easily the hottest and most powerful we've ever experienced.
The Royal Hawaiian Hotel is the absolute best! The hotel is iconic and the service is incredible. The location is the best in Waikīkī Beach - right on the water! The Mai Tai bar has great hours and you can bounce back and forth between the beach and the bar as needed.
Getting married at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, Waikiki
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
