We stayed here s good many times over the last three years and it is a good value and the staff work with us to assure we get a room close to the elevator because my wife is on oxygen and is vision impaired. The staff are very accommodating to her and it is a very close walk to the beach, which is very important.
Staying here was honestly one of the best parts of my trip because the view of the ocean from my room was absolutely incredible. I loved being able to just walk right out onto the sand, and the staff made sure everything was clean and comfortable for my entire stay.
People are often too picky. If you want 5 star, go stay at a 5 star. 100% would come back. - Walk on access to beach (check) - Kitchenette so we dont need to eat out every meal (check) - Balcony facing ocean for morning sunrise (check) We had the 2BR suite (one king, other room 2 twin). Sure its a little dated.
Took my 3 children and we had a 2 bedroom condo which we all loved. The ocean view was spectacular and we all enjoyed the beach at day and at night searching for ghost crabs. Fun times and I will be reserving again for next year. Great location to most restaurants and events.
Getting married at The Sea Ranch Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
