Good food, great service and an awesome view. Outdoor seating here on a beautiful day. I had tuna tartare ams a Merlot to pair it with.
Beautiful venue. My company just had its summer party there. Open bar. Lots of food and people carrying trays of items. Fantastic views of Ellis island, the statue of liberty, governors island, and the bay. Very nice. Right on the water. Lots of trees, and embedded in a park, so very green surroundings.
Went here for a small school reunion with my friends I went to elementary/junior high school with, who we hadn’t seen each other in over 20 years ....and the drinks, food and atmosphere was AMAZING! Their pizza is DELICIOUS!
Nice location all the way around, with a view of Battery Park, World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty across the water. Good food and the wine was lovely. Really recommend this restaurant, it definitely lives up to its name!
Getting married at The View at The Battery
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
