Lovely views, great heli coverage, good sightlines! What more could you ask for, except for a few less violent locals of course? - Mercury-2 Ronograd Task Force "Protecting what little we have"

Pier 17 in NYC is definitely one of those spots that surprises you with how versatile and scenic it is. The view from the rooftop is incredible, especially at sunset with the Brooklyn Bridge and East River in the background—it’s the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem even though it’s in plain sight.

POV: you’re an ARMY standing at Pier 17 in NYC, and suddenly it turns into one of the most unreal nights ever 🥹✨ Came here for the Spotify x BTS: Swimside event and honestly… still processing everything. The view?? insane.

The vibes at the Seaport Pier in NYC are simply unmatched on a beautiful day. I recently spent an afternoon there and absolutely loved just sitting out in the sun, soaking it all in.

Getting married at Pier 17

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
