My wife and I had our wedding at Hamilton Loft (formerly Shell's Loft Red Hook) in early May 2025, and the venue and staff exceeded all expectations. While in a non-descript location, the venue really turned out to be perfect, both visually and functionally.
We truly can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. It was exactly what we imagined it would be. Not to mention our guests have been raving about it since - from the venue itself, being able to float between the indoors and the courtyard, the staff, the beautiful side bar room.
I had my wedding reception at Hamilton Loft and I am happy to say that this venue is perfect and we loved every minute of our wedding! The owner, Steve, is kind and attentive, ready to answer any questions and was willing to show us around the space multiple times.
We had our wedding at Hamilton Loft in November ‘25 and it was absolutely incredible! Steve and team truly want to make sure you have the best experience and are so generous with their time and everything they have for you to use. The venue itself is amazing.
Getting married at Hamilton Loft
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
