From the reviews

This is a great historic hotel. And I enjoy being up on the higher floors, looking out the window. The rooms are rather nice and there is a rooftop bar that I have yet to make it to because i'm always here on work, and i'm always too tired. A nice big open lobby. I saw a coffee shop just off of the lobby.

Nicely updated and renovated hotel (having experienced the old Eastland hotel when it was waning). Good location for downtown activities. Adjacent to parking garage. Sunset from the rooftop bar (which offers munchies) is fun. Very quiet rooms.

Not super close to attractions about a 20 minute walk how ever roof bar has great views its relatively safe area some homeless people we walked every where had very few encounters. Over all a great stay in Portland Maine.

Getting married at The Westin Portland Harborview

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
