Good place for a small wedding! Don't know prices though because it was my brother's wedding. But very quiet and serene. Kind of like a picturesque scene and the ordained minister was really good too. Would recommend!!!
Went to a surprise birthday party year ago. Very nice size to hold a party, great location on the water. Next to Doty Park.
It was really nice place! Fantastic. It was by the water, it had a nice side yard so the wedding was outside and the reception was inside. It was a really nice place for a wedding. There were 60 people at the wedding but if you do have more than that like up to 100 or even over 100, it's not big enough for that.
BOOK EARLY! they fill-up fast. We have used this facility several times over the years, for party's, meetings, and get-together's. It is always in excellent condition, clean, both inside & out. Bathrooms(women's) could use some updating and a second stall, however roomy & serviceable.
Getting married at The Whiting Boathouse
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
