We held our reception at the Shrine club and it was everything I could have dreamed of! The event coordinator (Diane) is incredible. She is helpful, flexible, easy to contact, and full of great advice for the space. The space itself fit our 140 people comfortably and provided everything we needed.
Such a beautiful place looking over the ocean with the lighthouse...but the the service from the 2 very special people that made everything happen are just amazing! Thank you so much for making Amber and Jack's wedding something very special!
This is a great Venue. Windows that over look north beach and the ocean. Very Pretty. Kitchen and Bar available. Give these people a try if you're looking to host an event.

Getting married at Tybee Island Shrine Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
