My husband and I were looking for a modern wedding venue near the water (which is harder to find than you would think in CT), and stumbled across the Tyde a few months after it opened.
A dream come true. Tyde was the first venue my now husband and I toured and immediately fell in love the minute we walked in. From the modern-elegant designs, stunning chandeliers in every room, water views, the indoor/outdoor spaces, we could not have found a better place to fit our vision.
Choosing Tyde at Walnut Beach for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made, and we cannot say enough about the incredible experience we had!!! From the moment we first visited, we knew there was something special about this place.

Getting married at Tyde at Walnut Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge.
