We celebrated my daughter’s wedding at Wandby in a large tent behind the main building. It was fantastic. Multiple guests commented on the excellence of the food and the service. Ownership was very hands on and was super responsive to each and every request. Table and bar service was also excellent.
First of all, the property and overall atmosphere is breathtaking. The outdoor gardens and interior design is so well done in the heart of lower village Kennebunk. You honesty feel like your in a private oasis of southern Maine. Our dinner tonight was so delicious!

First visit here made certain it won't be our last! Easy reservations process with Resy. Beautiful grounds and setting beside Gooch's Creek. The interior is gorgeous, feels very high-end. The atmosphere is relaxed, as was our amazing server Brooke. She was very knowledgeable and paced the courses perfectly.
Getting married at Wandby Landing
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
