From the reviews
We had our wedding here in May and the Wylder team was amazing, especially KD! From the beginning she made sure we were taken care of and always available to answer any questions we had. The day of was great, didn't have to worry about setting anything up or tearing it down.
We had our wedding at Wylder in October and cannot say enough good things about the venue and the AMAZING staff here!! They truly care and went above and beyond for us throughout the entire weekend! Thanks to KD and the rest of the awesome team at Wylder for making our wedding weekend unforgettable!
We enjoyed a winter night birthday getaway and could not have been more impressed! From the time that we checked in to the time that we enjoyed a customized atmosphere & fantastic food in the bar & restaurant… 5 stars! The view, the service, the atmosphere, and the overall ambiance made our visit a memorable one!!!!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Wylder Hotel. It was the perfect getaway for a few nights as we were able to explore the island, St. Michaels, and Easton, MD. I will DEFINITELY be coming back. The property has so many fun activities that are readily available, I felt like I was staying in a coastal summer novel.
Getting married at Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
