This place is an amazing wedding venue! My husband and I got married here recently. Bob and Tracy were incredible throughout the entire process. They were always just an email or phone call away. We also decided to rent out the entire place for the days following the wedding and had the most relaxing time.
We had an amazing experience here -- we had our wedding here in September and even though it turned into a tropical storm on the day of our wedding, Bob and Tracy handled everything perfectly! The setting was beautiful, our tent stayed intact, and everyone had a blast. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
My wife and I stayed at Black Walnut Point Inn recently for a friend's wedding. The property is in a really unique location surrounded by water and nature. The rooms were comfortable and fit the classic b+b look and feel of the property. Nice pool and hammocks/chairs all around the property too.
We had our wedding at black walnut point inn May 16th. I can't say enough good things. It was intimate and beautiful. We had about 88 people there and used the tent outside. Bob & Tracy help us use different vendors and made everything so easy. the best part is that every morning they make breakfast.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
