Didn't book a room but my senior class was having this event nearby and the receptionist provided us with cups, utensils, and napkins. If it weren't for her I wouldn't have been able to gorge on fruits. #swagandhospitable. Ok bye
Very simple motel that is kept clean and nice by the staff. Perfect location with a small beach right on the James River across the street and nice overall area with a few restaurants and shops. Easy walk up a small bill to the historic Yorktown villages which is the birthplace of America’s independence.
Our first time here in Yorktown & the Yorktown Beach Hotel made the stay perfect. A true diamond in a hidden gem of a place to visit. Beautiful location, quiet room & views of the river/inlet spectacular. The owner, staff are amazing. We had the best stay & visit and hopefully will return in the future.
Yorktown Beach Hotel was great! Easy beach access and a beatiful, historic town thats provides intrigue for any history buffs! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend, my trip was relaxing and stress-free.
Getting married at Yorktown Beach Hotel

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
