From the reviews
The Islander on the Beach was a great location and beautiful place to stay! Our oceanfront room faced the east so each morning we watched the sunrise, so stunning and peaceful. The staff was helpful and welcoming.
A great location in Kapa'a. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Pool area nice, beach itself not so nice to enjoy. The beach has lots of debris, logs, rocks, etc.
This place is perfect, it brings all the Aloha and it has ocean front and ocean views. The grounds are beautiful, very green very tropical. The pool and hot tub area with bar is literally on the beach so you can see the ocean and feel the breeze while you sip your cocktail or coffee-close your eyes and let the sound…
If you book a 2 bed room on a third party site, you should get a 2 bed room. Have stayed here with a family at least 5 times. Great location and setting and the grounds are kept very well. Love this place and have never had problems. However, we brought a larger group this time and needed four rooms.
Getting married at Aston Islander on the Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
