From the reviews
Loved our stay at Kauai Shores. Rooms were very clean, comfortable beds. We had an ocean view from our lanai. Since it was our second week in the islands, it was nice to have laundry facilities available. There was a lovely beach area as well as lawn area with yard games. Loved using the bikes to explore.
Wonderful boutique hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. They were recently updated and beautiful. We enjoyed the beach club for drinks/food, chairs by the ocean for relaxing and watching the sunrise, free bike rental to explore, and the valet parking to keep things easy.
This funky, family-friendly complex was a change of pace from my wife’s and my usual condo/hotel stays. Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant and nightly music, plus beachfront, were awesome. Amenities were sadly mostly overrun by teenagers and younger kids, and only available very early and hit-and-miss late.
Great staff, attentive and kind staff. Awesome location if you're looking to be central and within walking distance of restaurants/excursion places/ other amenities. The beach is a lovely convenience, and it's nice that it's right off the property and easy to swim in or sit by. The bike path is awesome.
Getting married at Kauai Shores Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
