We recently held our wedding in Shelter Cove. It's a beautiful area with VERY nice poepl! I had a pleasure of dealing with Simy who made my family's stay at the Hot Tubs Inn, amazing! He went above and beyond to help and make sure they were happy. I recommend this host and this hotel.
We recently stayed at Cliff House’s Magnificent Room, and it was nothing short of perfect for a weekend respite! The amenities were thoughtfully curated, making our stay cozy and rejuvenating.
Great place right on the ocean with amazing sunsets from the hot tub! Very responsive management/host that got us everything we needed. There is a bird colony right below the house which was fun to watch but smelled like bird poop a bit.
This is our 2nd time staying on site. We noticed improvements to the deck. Our favorite partis the view/deck and the private hot tub. There are only 2 things about this property that are negative.
Getting married at Cliff House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
