We recently stayed here for a week and found it to be one of the best oceanfront resorts on the Cape. All units are finished to a high standard. There was an option to upgrade to a 2 bedroom for a reasonable rate as it was available and were more than pleased with the space.
Edgewater Beach Resort in Dennisport, MA is an amazing place to stay on Cape Cod! John, the manager, and his staff are always welcoming and polite, which makes the whole experience even better. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained.
We stayed in a one bedroom room at Edgewater and we're very happy with our stay. It was homey and we loved the kitchenette, fireplace, and walking distance to the beach. I'd recommend it to any traveler especially those with kids.
8th year coming here. Love the fact that beach is a short walk, rooms are very clean and great that the rooms have a kitchen. Quiet and atmosphere is friendly.
Getting married at Edgewater Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
