My husband and I stayed at the Harborside to celebrate our anniversary and it could not have been more perfect. The staff was so attentive and helpful while also giving us the privacy we wanted. Every last detail had been thought of, down to the ocean scented candles in the lobby.
We loved our recent stay at this delightful resort! This is our second visit and was just as magical as we remembered. The location is perfect for exploring all Bar Harbor has to offer from the stunning hikes of Acadia to the shoreside path and the town itself.

Friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in to when I checked out. All the staff was amazing. The gentleman that checked us in was welcoming, Ray Ray and Aldo at the bar were helpful with great recommendations, and the everyone else we encountered had a smile and willing to help.
Getting married at Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
