From the reviews
We cannot possibly describe what a special place Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast is. We were fortunate enough to have had our wedding there this past weekend and could not speak more highly of the experience.
Our family gathered here to grieve the loss of a beloved and we could not have been in a more nurturing and beautiful environment. It was as if time stood still for us and we were protected in this loving space where we could feel all the joy of having had this person in our lives and all the profound sadness of…
Absolutely amazing experience! I wish I could give it 10 stars. We have been up the coast from LA to Seattle and this was the highlight. Staying at this B&B and lighthouse was magical. The view cannot be beat and the accommodations were charming and comfortable. A must stay!!!
Spectacular stay. Really unique setting and it's so fun to go up to the lighthouse at night. Nothing like lighting a fire in the fireplace and enjoying games and tea with a storm overhead. Really lovely experience of the history and beauty of the Oregon coast.
Getting married at Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
