10 out of 10 stay and experience. This place made my vacation, wedding , and honeymoon dreams come true. First off let’s talk about the view. You can’t beat it. This is the spot for sunsets. Also, I could wake up to this view every day. The bay is just gorgeous. The beach is just a short drive or golf cart ride away.
Our vacation at Legacy Retreat on the Bay was absolutely wonderful. The home is so well-designed, and the decor is perfectly beachy. The chef’s kitchen was exactly what my husband (a professional chef) was hoping for.
We LOVE Legacy Retreat on the Bay! This house has all the comforts of home but on SGI! The fully equipped kitchen is something out of a magazine (not to mention the view while washing dishes)! Plenty of room for the whole family on comfy beds! The best part of this house is the view from the back porch!
Absolutely beautiful house! Perfect location right on the bay. The homeowner thought of everything you need to enjoy your vacation. I would absolutely book this location again.
Getting married at Legacy Retreat on the Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
