This has become our home away from home for four girlfriends. We have stayed at Rhythm Of The Sea for 24 years now, and we are never disappointed. The hospitality and charm of Amy and Mara have been a constant lure during our trips to Cape May. Rhythm Of The Sea is welcoming, comfortable, and well maintained.
Love this place! Been there multiple times and it never disappoints. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, immaculate, and cozy. The breakfasts are delicious culinary delights offered at 2 different times. The location is right across from a nice, uncrowded beach.
Stayed for two nights and exceeded expectations!! Room was nicer, roomier , better AC than the online pics showed. Beachfront was ideal (reminder that beach tags aren't included - it states so but we forgot). Mara was a delightful host, very attentive!!
Stunning B&B at the quiet part of Beach Ave. We stayed in the Carriage House next to the main house, which is Pet friendly!!! Kate and Maura are absolutely lovely hosts. The chef and the breakfasts are phenomenal! Every amenity provided from beach towels and chairs, to bikes, fresh made cookies !!
Getting married at Rhythm of the Sea
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
