My husband and I were married at the Angels Rest on Resurrection Bay. Since the beginning, we knew that we were in good hands. Lynda took care of every details that we requested for, and she saw through the entire process. We felt relieved and secured, knowing that we had a reliable helping hand on our big day!
My now husband and I stayed at Cloud 9 at Angels Rest for our elopement weekend and it was INCREDIBLE! This Cabin is super adorable, intimate, clean, and has unmatched views! From our window we saw sea otters and bald eagles and sat outside on the patio just being in awe with the location and majestic scenery.
Angels Rest was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Seward. The location is perfect, away from the town’s hustle and bustle and the rooms facing the beautiful bay. The rooms were self contained with every small amenities taken care of.
We chose Angels Rest for one of our 3 night stays during our 2019 Road Trip of a Lifetime and it was such great choice. The location was perfect. We spent hours on the porch watching the otters play in the bay and waved as the cruise ships made their way past our perfect paradise.
Getting married at Rustic Roots Cabins
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
