We want to say a huge thank you to Addie and her family for making our wedding day so wonderful! We got married on June 27, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. We received countless compliments from our guests about the venue.
We recently hosted our wedding reception at Salt in Port Washington. There was a management transition and renovations made after we had contracted and although that came as a surprised to us, we ended up with far more than we paid for.
I recently attended a wedding at Salt and I was thoroughly impressed. I wish I was getting married all over again so I could have my wedding here. It’s a beautiful venue and the staff was top tier. Highly suggest this venue for a reception.

Getting married at Salt at Newport Shores
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
