A very enjoyable weekend getaway in Port Washington. The Harborview hotel was a great choice and was very accommodating. It is clean and modern looking on the inside . Bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was not loud nor buzzing (which is typical in most hotels ).
Excellent location in the city, the room is clean and comfortable. But the most impressive thing is the responsiveness of the staff. My son forgot his soft toy in the room, it turned out on the way home, because each of us was sure that we packed the animal in a backpack.
I have stayed here a couple times and always had a good experience. The staff is super friendly and they know the area well so they are great at giving recommendations on local restaurants and shops. The rooms have always been pristine. The hotel overlooks the harbor and has amazing views.
This was a very clean hotel. The staff were friendly. The location couldn't be better as it was right off the harbor and next to shopping. The Beacon restaurant and bar in the hotel were wonderful. Pool and hot tub was open until midnight (adults only). That was icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
