We recently had our wedding at Switzer Farm and it was beyond magical! The house, property, and everything that surrounds it is drop dead gorgeous. The detail put into the house itself is incredible - it is a dreamy place to get to stay for a few days! You won't want to leave. We lucked out with October weather.
My husband and I had our wedding at Switzer Farm last year, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, the entire weekend felt like an absolute dream. We were able to accommodate our immediate families on the property for the full wedding weekend.
Switzer Farm is one of those places that pictures don't do justice. Looking through the pictures on his website are stunning, but then you get there and it is even more beautiful than you imagined. My partner and I just got married here and magical is the only word to describe it.
We held our wedding here over Memorial Day weekend and it was truly the most perfect weekend. Switzer Farm was the first venue we looked at and we knew we had to book it immediately! The property is so magical and was the perfect place to host all of our closest friends and family for the few days.
Getting married at Switzer Farm
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
