I got married at the Driftwood Lodge this spring and we had the absolute best time. The team is so supportive and helpful, the location is breathtaking and the customizability of getting married at a vacation rental was absolutely ideal for us. So so fun!
Driftwood Lodge was a magical venue for our small wedding. The sun setting on the ocean during our ceremony, redwoods towering in the background and birds overhead -- it was exactly the beautiful nature that we had wanted to incorporate into our wedding day.
We had the most amazing wedding celebration at The Driftwood Lodge! The location was gorgeous, everything was perfect and the hosts were friendly and helpful! We enjoyed every second of the 3 days spend here, in the hottub, gathering with friends and family, bbqing and eating together, dancing and celebrating!
We couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful place to spend 5 days with family and friends and hold our wedding. Our bridal party stayed with us at Driftwood lodge and then we had a room block with Fort Ross lodge down the hill for family and friends.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
