Great hotel with an incredible ocean view. The lobby has a relaxing atmosphere, and the restaurant is solid with good service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The property around the hotel is especially nice — trails for walking, quiet spots, and benches where you can sit alone and enjoy the coastline.
Amazing experience - really recommend this. We should have stayed an extra night and avoided Bodega Bay Lodge. Get the Ocean view room.
28 years ago when we had no money at all. My husband and I stayed there. We were both were so excited to go there. For my 20th Anniversary when went back. It changed so much with the rooms i feel back in love with Timber Cove Resorts. Today I'm planning a surprise get away there.
A decent hotel with great view of the sea and warm vintage feeling rooms. You can totally just chill at the patio and enjoy the peace of mind for a whole afternoon. Food is nice but the price is a bit high.
Getting married at Timber Cove Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
