From the reviews
I recently got married at The George and Madcap Lounge and it was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning—beautiful, unique, and full of character. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, drinks, attentive staff, and the incredible atmosphere.
We are so happy with our experience having our wedding at The George & Madcap Lounge! We went with a unique plan for our day with a smaller ceremony and dinner for about 40 guests and then had a larger cocktail reception with about 120 guests total. All the spaces in the venue worked perfectly for this.
My husband and I just had our wedding here this past weekend and wow everything was above and beyond. Michelle and crystal were so easy to work with and super responsive with every question leading up to the wedding day. Pictures of the venue itself does not do it justice.
Beyond the venue being absolutely beautiful, the staff and service was amazing. As the bride, I did not have to worry about a thing on my wedding day other than to be present.
Getting married at The George & Madcap Lounge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
