We spent 4 nights in one of the cottages, location was perfect and the cottage was lovely. Then we spent the last night in a room in the manor itself. We didn’t think it could be any better than the cottage but it was perfect.
My wife and I had a great anniversary getaway here! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine in our cottage to celebrate. The rooms are nice. The blueberry muffins and coffee in the morning were great.
We stayed at this inn for three nights celebrating our five year wedding anniversary. We stayed in the king cabins located behind the main house. Simply an amazing trip. The location was perfect for walks to shops, food, and the scenic waterfront walking trail.
A wonderful stay in Bar Harbor! The inn has a beautiful front yard that’s perfect to enjoy some lovely live music during our visit. The staff were kind and welcoming. We really appreciated the coffee, tea, and water available — such a nice touch! The location is absolutely fantastic — close to everything.
Getting married at Ivy Manor Inn - Village Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
